Only the truth!

In addition to accepting the states of heaven and hell, Catholicism envisages a third state before being admitted to heaven. According to Catholic doctrine, some souls are not sufficiently free from sin and its consequences to enter the state of heaven immediately, nor are they so sinful as to be destined for hell either. Such souls, ultimately destined to be united with God in heaven, must first endure purgatory—a state of purification. In purgatory, souls "achieve the holiness necessary to enter the joy of heaven."
This is a complete fabrication of the leadership of the Roman Catholic religion. We read in Hebrews 9:27 "... it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment." There is no second chance after death. Either one accepts Christ as his personal Savior in this life, or not at all. At death, our eternal destiny is established.

In Like the 16th chapter, we have an account of a man going to Hell (Hades), finding him in misery. His request to go back and warn his brothers is denied.
Many who practice the Catholic religion have been lead into a false teaching. Many live sinful lives now, thinking they are going to get another chance when they die. However, for those who put their faith in Jesus's finished work on the cross will go to heaven at death. Those who reject Him, believing they can work their way now, or receive an extension in a place called Purgatory, will be cast into an eternal Hell. A place called Purgatory is a fantasy invented by men.

Salvation is not in our endurance and good living. It is totally and completely the work of the Holy Spirit, full and free.
